Each student has their own workspace, so focused work is the default rather than something the room has to fall silent for.

Mastery, then the next unit

A PACE is finished when the student has understood it. Nobody is pushed ahead of their own understanding, and nobody is held back by the pace of the group.

What curriculum does Judah use?

Judah Christian Academy teaches with the ACE/PACE model in every grade. Students work through individual PACEs at their own study station. It is the academy’s academic model, not an accreditation or certification.

Does every grade use the same model?

Yes. ACE/PACE is used across all grades at the academy.

What subjects does my child study?

The core areas are Biblical Studies & Character, Language Arts & Literacy, Mathematics & Logic, Science & Creation, History & Social Studies, and Technology & Innovation. The electives are MYT (Physical Education) and Music. Biblical integration runs through every core area.

Is Bible a separate class?

No. Biblical studies and character formation are part of the daily material in every area, rather than a single lesson on the timetable.

Where does learning happen?

In school, on campus in Richmond, VA. Students learn with teacher support, individual PACEs, and a consistent classroom routine.
